The ViaKrome range of fixable viability dyes developed by Beckman Coulter include dyes excited by common lasers such as 405 nm, 561 nm, 638 nm, and 808 nm lasers. All these excitation option provide flexibility for the user when engaged in multicolour panel design.
Based on covalent binding to reactive thiol sites, the ViaKrome range does not suffer from hydrolysis effects like alternative amine based chemistry options do. No desiccation required. The range is soluble in PBS without the need for DMSO.
