The C-Line WB220 Workbench is equipped with 2 baskets that lower in to a gaseous phase of a liquid nitrogen bath (between -110°C and -180°C) at a programmed rate. The unit can come with the optional ColdEye 2D barcode scanner too so that samples can be frozen and logged in to the C-Line Control software at the same time ahead of downstream storage in a C-Line HS storage system.
