The Bionet CT2 is a pilot-scale single-use bioreactor based on innovative two-dimensional rocking technology. Offering working volumes from 0.15 to 15 litres within a single bag platform, CT2 gives users considerable flexibility when developing and scaling bioprocesses. The system combines the operational advantages of single-use technology with a broad working range, making it well suited to process development, optimisation and pilot-scale applications.
Rocking bioreactors use controlled movement to generate waves within the culture fluid, providing both mixing and gas transfer without a conventional internal impeller. This principle has become an established approach to single-use cell culture and is used from laboratory development through to manufacturing applications.
